Description
This course is designed to address the knowledge and technical aspects needed to perform modern reliable endodontic therapies. This course consists of in-depth lectures, case based discussion and hands-on workshops. During the course the clinicians will be exposed to new techniques, advanced equipment, and the latest gadgets in contemporary endodontics.
Learning Objectives:
• Understand in depth the objectives of canal cleaning and shaping.
• Appraise the problems of root canal preparation.
• Discuss the evolution of root canal instruments.
• Discuss the different methods of creating a reproducible glide path with manual and engine driven files.
• Be able to negotiate a difficult canal and create a secured glide path.
• Understand the objectives of a root canal obturation
• Practice the technique of warm vertical compaction
• Apply modern methods of canal preparation for warm vertical compaction.
