Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, learners are expected to be able to:

  • Review guidelines for the delivery and safe management of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, intraosseous and intravenous injection
  • Demonstrate the procedure of administering an intramuscular, intraosseous and intravenous injection

Is this course for me?

This is an onsite course which aims to equip healthcare students and professionals with injection administration skills. The course includes hands-on training sessions and attendees will receive a Certificate of Training upon completion of the course. This is a great opportunity for healthcare professionals who need to refresh or for students and fresh graduates, who are eager to learn more.


This course will provide the healthcare workers with an understanding of various aspects of injection administration, how to locate the appropriate sites for administration, information about the different needle gauge size, appropriate needle disposal, infection control standards and the scope of practice.

The 3.25 CME credits counts towards SSH re-certification.
